Since my appointment as equine specialist, there has been no call upon my
expertise. Just saying I feel sidelined once again. Same as ignoring my
application for the post of Editor. Wasn't even advertised when the hyphen
was appointed. It simply isn't good enough.

After all my work has been used by Hugh Denis.

grumble, moan, whinge.

What happened to all the ponies that Shula had to rescue? Did they
manage to rehome all the ones that didn't go to Grange Farm?

Ai have no idea......I wasn't consulted. A good example of my being
sidelined. The arrogance of the TA production team is a disgrace. They
will be importing cheese next.

They departed through the editorial wormhole in the space-time continuum
about which I regularly raise concerns.

The admin isn't too speedy as a process when moving horses on these days.
They all need passports and the EC rules mean there is more paperwork to
process than one might imagine. Though of course the physical movement can
be quicker than the paperwork but anyone receiving a pony would want to
know it is up to date etc.

So how do you acquire papers for horses that have just been dumped on
the road side? It can't be a case of "you touched them last, so you
have to keep them"?

Well you can't, which means selling or transferring ownership is not
possible. Though I can't say it doesn't happen, a registered equine
establishment would not touch them.

Yes, nothing worse than an out-of-date pony.
