The usual requirement for some breathing space is attempted here - though

Okay, in the words of the Lemmings, ‘Let’s Go!’

With Feebles having lived up to her name for the business plan, ‘Rewilding
Ambridge’ has gone off half cocked to Borchester Land who, quite rightly
are looking for a ‘share in the profits’ and obviously RA did not see this
coming! I wonder if these ‘profits’ are the half million quid and BL will
be looking for 75% of the proportioned amount in the total land involved? I
suppose they would be contributing the lion’s share of the land to RA and
thus expecting something north of £25,000. Get out of that one Feebles!

Wasn't it half a million? So 500,000?
I assume BL will get rent for the land in the first place and there
will be no profits for years. Which is why they were talking of a 10
year plan. The rent will come out of the 500,000. So it is allwin for
BL. And then in some years' time, when they make a profit, however
they do, BL gets some of that too. Thinking about it, since they also
get rent, it seems a bit greedy to take 75% of profits.

Yes, the gross figure is £500000; that money is for the whole project and
there are other parcels of land in various locations. Surely any ‘profits’
whatever they may be, will have to be apportioned accordingly, BL may have
the lion’s share but must surely share the ‘profit’ with the other
landowners. I fail to see what other ‘profits’ may be accrued by anyone
with the land just going wild, what funds are raised if no produce is
raised from the ground? The way I understand it is that the land is just
left to go wild - where’s the income from this? BL must be looking to cream
off the money from Piggoi’s funds though - goodness knows how!

Unless Justin’s game is just to teach the cocky young whippersnappers a
thing or to about meddling in things they clearly don’t know about. I think
that Piggoi would see the point in that too.

A landlord either takes the proper market rental or a reduced rental and
a profit share. Is Damara offering a reduced rental, which it should if
it is making a packet on Farndale in the meantime?

Justin was heard in Toodleville to say they would not charge rent.
