Any talk of Rochelle should be taken with a pinch of potassium sodium
tartrate tetrahydrate. Any pressure and there'd be high tension - her
peas are electric.

I like that idea but I can't fit it with the Joy we have met. I can't
believe that she wouldn't have been able to accept that, instead of
Rochelle, she now had a wonderful son.

That seems more plausible to me. Probably down to something dreadful
which happened to Rochelle.
