It is the first appearance of the year for Rex and for Martyn.

For a moment, I thought that Rex had been recast, as the BBC website
says Rex Barber, but as that is a mix of the names of the character and
usual actor, I suspect a typo. RT still says Nick Barber, as given
above, but they could just be making the same assumptions as me.

Barrie Rutter! That's a bit of looxury casting. I wonder whether he's
going to be George's protector, or possibly nemesis? Or perhaps, given
that he is as deep-dyed a Yorkshireman as Yorkshirely possible, whether
he's come to pile pressure on Harrison to give up the soft southern life
and return to the home country?
