enjoyed exercising is the one between my ears. - Beryl Hales, Radio Times

Alexa, ask BBC Sounds to play Assisted.

<Silence>

ALEXA, ask BBC Sounds to play Assisted.

I'm sorry, Dave, I can't do that.

Have you tried "Alexa, open the pod bay doors"?

"Alexa, should I get up?" is quite good.

However, since I've been listening to The Testaments as an audiobook,
her response to "Alexa, play The Testaments" is not at all good as she
gets horribly confused unless I articulate it very carefully.

I'm working on getting next door's to respond to "Alexa, do a big fart
at 6pm." No reason. I just have an evil streak.

That's had me chuckling for well over a minute! Thanks.

I don't know Plaistow Patricia; I presume it's somewhat noisy.

When I need an alarm call, I set the computer to play me a nice little
1930 song about a little heathland flower, and a girl of the same name:
(apologies if I've mentioned
it before).

No (well a bit) but it's very, very rude at the start.
