Yes, Annutherr stupid plot!!!
Yes. Neither project sounds like the kind serious business people
would leap into. To spend a huge sum of money without lots of
discussion, and Lilian was in a hurry to do so, and now Justin wants
to on an entirely different thing because of some bragging she did
about her activities years ago is just not likely. Is this the
shrewd, tough businessman who screwed the other branch of Lilian's
family over the land purchase?

And then we have the comedy insert. Jazzer and his sun beds.

As if anyone would spend ‘megathousands’ on a ‘norse, or on a yacht on such
a whim totally astounds me, only SW’s could do that I think! Were we to
believe that Justin has been an astute business man and wise investor?
There must be a whole bag of marbles running down the gutter right now. As
to FAL’s stupid idea - belief is well and truly beggared!

Having had the Monday follow-up to the ridiculous plot-lines set out on
Friday and Sunday, I think it is time to speculate.
FAL’s ‘experience’ on the briney is very dubious and possibly demonstrates
her total lack of sea-legs and for all we know she is a total disaster on
any vessel. From what was said, we are left guessing the worst, and this
seems a very likely outcome - look out Justin!
As to Justin’s proposition: he knows nothing of marine matters - he thinks
FAL does and is prepared to invest vast sums to go hob-knobbing with a
glass of champers in one hand and with FAL draped on his arm on the
varnished oak decking of a megabucks Boaty McBoatface job.
As to the ‘Orse story, so CJD is going to report back that the ‘orse has
various major faults and cannot even be bred from due to one or other
medical detail. By this time, impetuous FAL has committed herself to
purchasing the nag. Oh how we will laugh.
Friday???? Scratch ‘Friday’, Auntie has!

Not.

Their attempts at comedy are unfortunately almost never funny.
There must be more appropriate projects for a property company to
spend a large sum of money on. And how come they've got one? I think
theytold us but I umbrella.

I went back from reception tothe changing room today to look for the
glasses I was actually wearing, but I am aware that I am elderly and
think many times about it and check many things before I spend any sum
of money.

Both propositions involve more than just the capital outlay - stabling
and marina fees are considerable continuing costs. Plus both of them
would require other people to do the actual riding or sailing - Justin
and Lilian are neither of them young and active enough to compete at the
sort of level required for Badminton or Cowes (let alone that anything
comfortable enough for Justin would need a crew of at least four).

This has all the hallmarks of a plot that's been squeezed in because
Frances Barber's agent said she fancied a cameo in a National
Institution and you can't say no to an actress of that stature.

No.
You'd probably know her if you saw (or heard) her - she's been in a
*lot* of things on TV and has a distinctive, rather low, husky voice[1].
She's done masses of theatre, too. (I saw her once as Camille and she
was jolly good.)

'issues'.
