Sunday 23rd - Recent events begin to take their toll on Chris, and the
Grundys debate their next move.
When word gets out, as it will, that Alice pleaded not guilty to
driving, will Emma insist indignantly George saw her in the driving
seat? Will Will check his voice mails? Will the Grundys add 2+2 and
make 4? I nuggering hope so as I have thought this is going on too
long for some time already.

Monday 24th - There’s light at the end of the tunnel for Harrison, and
Lily receives a surprising offer.
Please can Oliver not offer her Roy's job. She is too young and
inexperienced. Could Fallon possibly decide she loves Carpet enough
and wants things to work and if he wants a baby so much she will have
one? They talk about him carrying on p/t as policemen or just being
dad while she earns? Just as long as we don't hear them making the
baby.
Post by carolet
Tuesday 25th - Emotions run high for George, and Joy offers some hope.
Neil and Eddy question his version of events and question him.
Joy is not going to let Mick move in, is she? He is iffy. Head of
security, breaking in to let her use facilities? Maybe she lets him
park outside her house.
Post by carolet
Wednesday 26th - The residents gather for news of a friend, and
preparations begin for the summer fete.
The fete will be the light relief to balance the Alice thing. Where
would they gather and which friend? Seversl are away. Johnny, Daniel,
Mike, Roy..ah Roy sends word he's not coming back. That must be it.
Post by carolet
Thursday 27th - Minds are changed at Grange Farm, and several residents
plot an intervention.
The Grundies can't support George. The truth must come out. Neil and
Susan ate decent. Ed is too. Does Oliver know?
Post by carolet
Friday 28th - There’s a sad goodbye for one family, and Susan comes to a
decision.
Roy has no family left in Ambridge, does he? But Phoebe might be home
maybe. Oh no! Bartleby goes. Susan goes to Harrison about George?

My parents used to live not far from the world's largest donkey sanctuary.
Dad always wanted there to be a prominent sausage factory nearby.

I really admire your staying power, Vicky. Several times recently I've
started on an episode but just haven't had the willpower to stop my
arm reaching for the off-or-over swithc before the end.

On the other hand..

... this doesn't seem to be too bad a week on BBC Radio 4x

I think the end for some of the stories is happening. There was a
surprise today about Bartleby and George is not happy about the
prospect of having to be a witness in court. Joy and Susan sounded as
if they were about to work out that Alice didn't buy fruit pops but
then didn't.

Will he be allowed to have his emotional support horse with him at the

Well, okay so I've listened to two episodes all the way through this
week and not needed to switch off before the end. So maybe the worst
is over now?

I'll try to listen tonight as well.

My feeling is that the stories would improve if the title of the
programme was considered to be a useful pointer and they wrote about The
Archers.

No from the final minute today I think George changed his mind again
and decided to let B go, The rest home will have company for him more
of the time than George can provide and can afford medicalcare. Eddy
and Will pointed out George will have to help pay and it will get more
expensive as time goes on.
