I was delighted to discover recently that Sainsbury are selling Puffed
Wheat but slightly disappointed that it isn't quite as good as I
remember the Quaker version being. Sainsbury's seem slightly less
puffed so are quite chewy.

I see that Morrison's are also selling an own-brand version (at nearly 3
times the price!) but is it, in fact, the exact same product in
different packaging?

In doing some internet research on the subject I same across the
following, which is really rather off-putting:

"
Sainsburys Puffed Wheat 160g | Cereal

Britsuperstore
https://www.britsuperstore.com › sainsburys-puffed-wh...
Sometimes you will feel much more comfortable in sticking with what you
know and nowhere is your comfort more important than with sanitary
protection. We can ...
£2.59"

I see that Quaker stopped making Puffed Wheat back in 2019 but, if it
is any consolation, even if they were still making it today, even
Quaker Puffed Wheat would probably not taste the same. All the cereals
seem to have been tweaked to make them healthier and the consequence
is that, to me, they've all become less tasty.

Yeuch!

But how did you find that? When I tried to follow your link it crashed
the browser I was using at the time and then when I followed up from
another browser I couldn't repeat your magical word combination.

PS Were you the Jenny from Wrexham who wrote to Feedback[1] about the
election[2]?
[1]At least I think it was Feedback and [2]I think it was the
election: I wasn't really paying attention until I heard the words
"Jenny from Wrexham" by which time it was too late.

I started by typing Puffed Wheat in Chrome and accepted the offer of
Puffed What Cereal UK. About halfway down the resulting page were 2
rows of 4 images (various cereals) and clicking the first (Sainsbury's
Puffed Wheat) brought up a panel alongside like a mini page with a
couple of Sainsbury entries at the top, then the Britsuperstore bit,
then a bit from trolley.co.uk which talked about Sainsbury's Puffed
Wheat and showed a photo of Nestlé Shredded What.
