I've seen no posts here for several days. As I'm still recovering
accounts and ditching old ones I thought were already ditched, I'm
wondering whether something has gone wrong.

Or perhaps everyone's just busy elsewhere.

It has been terribly quiet. I blame the... (give me a moment to think
of a scapegoat).

Meanwhile, things must be bad on TA since even Wofe is complaining about
the bizarre storylines.

I like farming-related story lines. Not keen on abbatoir ones but I am
not veggie so do know they are related. I want someone nicer running
it though. And Freddie not working there but learning about estate
management. I wish Vince would run off with wossername. Joy's
daughter.

He is not going to run off with Rochelle once the source of the next
camera is discovered.

Vince may be more perceptive about Rochelle than you think. He may be
following the precept of Sun Tzu "Keep your friends close and your
enemies even closer".

I think he is not engaged with the business at the moment. However I
once looked at an employee file and found that we had not pursued
references properly allowing employment to commence and never then
following it up. By that time we had suspicions and I made it very
clear that whatever the circumstances that should never happen again.
Now a reference would not mention veganism (why would it?) but I suspect
that Rochelle has a lack of decent referees in her past history which
ought to lead to a suspicious mind set - but Freddie has been told by
both boss and his mother that there are reasons to encourage Rochelle -
whilst we know otherwise. Oddly I wonder if Freddie will become aware
of the veganism whilst eating tea on Sunday?

I was away last weekend for a few days visiting the National Space
Centre (to get away from gravity) and Sir Isaac Newton's house to come
down to earth again. We then moved onwards to North Yorkshire visiting
the Coldstones Cut (very cold) and Brimham Rocks plus some restaurants.
Which means I have been a little behind with the people who live in a
village where The Archers used to reside. It is ages since we went to
Brookfield or Home Farm and we have Bridge Farm pushed down our throats
far too often.

Yes I had noticed that. What I am finding annoying, due to the way the
budgets limit appearances is that some episodes - particularly those
with five or less - can be very flat. For a long time it was always
around 7 and those episodes which now have that number feel more
rounded. Even a six person episode like Thursday (the sixth was Saskia)
means that the episode feels flat as we bounce around the same limited
number of voices. Last week when we had 7 (inheritance tax episode)
felt far more rounded for some reason.

Some of us (me) found the quality of the phone call so poor I didn’t catch
her name - did I miss something in the cast list?
