Have found two books about the Archers pre 1951. “Ambridge at War” and
“Home Fires at Ambridge”, both by Catherine Miller. Approved by TA
producer of the day. Have got “Home Fires”, very good it s too. Archers,
Perkins, Gabriels, Horobins (so far). Some names we’re familiar with, many
not.

The Archers - Victory at Ambridge
Might not have been published when the large print title was. Looks as if
Reading libraries only have the one title as well.

I like that. "Reading Libraries." Are there any other kind?

Before I buy any new Archers books I ought to try and find out how
many I have already. There are three in this bookcase[1] next to me -
wait a minute, make that four - plus I know there are others in boxes
and bookshelves elsewhere.

Nick
[1]To try and relieve the storage problem I recently installed a
mezzanine shelf in this one but it means that for the time being books
sit where they fit, not necessarily where they belong.
