RT Review by David Crawford

It’s Ramadan and the newly “woke” Lynda is keen to be involved with the
Maliks’ plans — but there’s a surprise for the family. Meanwhile, Zainab
(Priyasasha Kumari) causes ructions over the Tearoom’s pancake-eating
competition.

Joy and Mick try to make the most of their situation but are hampered by
the actions of others. Tracy’s date night with Jazzer flounders, and
there’s tension at Bridge Farm.

Given that he is in the cast list, I'd be surprised if that isn't their

Kirsty is still living in Roy's house, the one that she wants to buy.

Nobody else will want to buy her old flooded house, to live in it. I've
been wondering whether the new, kind, generous Justin would want to step
in in some way, perhaps by offering Kirsty a loan, perhaps by buying one
of the houses.

I don't know what situation Azra is in, as she has rented her house.
Would she be within her rights to just walk away from an uninhabitable
house and go and rent/buy elsewhere?

Did Tracy marry Jazzer?  I thought she was a married woman?
She did marry Jazzer, but I don't recall hearing whether she intended to
change her name. Some might think that she would leap at the chance to
stop being a Horrobin, but she has had that name for a long time, and
her children have that name, and it is an effort to change name. These
days it is not unusual to stick with the name that fits you.

I know but like you I would have thought that Tracy would be keen to
kick Horrobin in the bin. It is (without on air evidence) hard to know
if it is a deliberate decision or a simple failure by TPTB at undertake
an update. I will for the moment go with the idea that it is a
deliberate decision.

Doh! I was going forward, not back. Numbers have never been my strong
suit, I’ve now completely confused myself reading the quoted article.
Honestly, I have been listening - but my ears aren’t conveying meaning just
sounds to the brain. My GP has asked me to get my hearing tested now
rather than later in the year. She’s quicker on the uptake than I am.
