The fb author wants to know how to see umra. He googled it but got BBC
pages. What do I tell him? I said needs a news reader but I use the
paid for German one. Which is free?

It's a web-based link to usenet and is a bit like Google groups used to
be but more quirky. Anybody can read everything but to post one has to
sign up - which is easily done. If they like what they see then maybe
encourage them to then try a proper newsreader and a news server like
your German one or Eternal September

I use eternal-september or PlusNet (who may be the last ISP "with" a
newsserver - though I think they relay someone else's, possibly
Giganews).

Yup. It's very convenient when I can't use my Agent-on-a-stick[1] -
but as you can see I'm using AoaS now.

I was thinking about this. One could do a lot worse than Bulgaria. Low
cost of living so I bet one could live well on a British state
pension. Advantages of being in the EU. ISTR that they produce some very
passable red wine that was always good for Labour Party raffles in the
1980s.

Still a spoiler as I’m writing before the omnivore edition.

I think it’s an obvious way to make George understand how to handle money
and more the realisation that the wider family won’t bail him out of his
financial difficulties even for the same of Joe, sadly I think he still
intends to earn a fair bit from the nebulous ‘influencer’ stakes which for
a pony is hardly going to keep George in paying his monthly phone bill with
or without including the cost of the phone. What or why Oliver thinks he’s
worth it I can’t see. He’s not a patch on what Neil presumably was at that
age ((Neil was a responsible pig-man by my listening habit was formed)
